Rob Cuesta

RobRob Cuesta first began studying NLP in the late 1990s, and was certified as an NLP practitioner in 2002, setting up Solution Academy shortly thereafter. Since then, he has been running personal development courses and helping individuals and organisations to maximise their performance as both a coach and consultant. Rob received his certification as an NLP Trainer from highly acclaimed master trainers of NLP Drs Tad and Adriana James.

A former accountant who “saw the light”, Rob’s certifications include: ABNLP-certified Trainer of NLP, Master Practitioner of NLP, Certified Personal Brand Strategist and Online Identity Strategist, as well as a Postgraduate Diploma in Marketing , and a Masters in Business Administration with Distinction from Warwick Business School.

Rob is a maximiser, for whom excellence is the measure of personal success, identifying and then transforming strengths into professional assets that set you apart from your peers and competitors. “It takes just as much work to turn something below average into something slightly above average,” he says “as it does to turn something strong into something truly superb. So why waste your energy making up for your weaknesses when instead you can take your strengths and stretch them into real gifts?”

Rob has worked across the globe with some of the largest and best known organisations in the world and also with some of the smallest, and he combines this experience with his own education to support clients in their quest to achieve excellence.

In his free time, Rob can be found hanging off climbing walls, indulging his love of long drives and fast cars, or sitting by the sea writing.

Co-trainer and co-creator of our Motivational Selling course, Mike Smith is a popular and experienced speaker and trainer. His background in Marketing, Sales and Technical leadership roles enables him to feel just as comfortable rolling his sleeves up and implementing solutions, as he is discussing strategy with CEOs and senior management teams.  Specialising in developing strategy, driving business efficiency and working with sales teams, Mike's passion is to achieve cultural as well as commercial gains for clients.

Mike has an impressive track record in marketing, sales and technical roles in European and North American technology sector businesses, from start-ups through to multinational corporations.  His extensive experience is backed up by academic achievement having attained an engineering degree and post graduate diplomas in management and marketing. Mike was elected a Chartered Marketer in 1998 and is member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing.

In his free time Mike loves to "get away from it all" by sailing his yacht off the South Coast or cycling along the lanes and byways of Dorset and Hampshire, taking numerous photographs along the way. He also enjoys getting his hands dirty tinkering with his two classic cars.
